PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU START HATING ME FOR BEING AN INSENSITIVE HATER!
alright first off I love bronies they're awesome people who don't give a crap about what others think and are brave enough to say what they like no matter how embarrassing on the internet of all places. Almost every brony I know is a really awesome guy. That being said I HATE the show My little pony friendship is magic, It's not bad I guess (I've seen 6 episodes I should know) but I really don't like seeing fan art of the show EVERYWHERE YOU GO and I mean EVERYWHERE. That's like a rule of the internet that if it exists it has an MLP crossover. However while I hate the fact it's taking over that's my opinion... your free to have yours and honestly if you enjoy it good for you! Anyways the only type of brony I hate is the ones I call the Jehovis witnesses of the franchise the ones who try to assimilate everyone into the collective herd. I decided to vent a bit of that frustration today with this picture. Guys you're still awesome in my mind . Still I have been wondering what in haran is so attractive about this show. Like I said I didn't think it was bad (most of the time... okay yeah I thought it was pretty childish, gender specific, and the music felt like a big daddy trying to lobotomize me but again my opinion) but I still didn't see where the appeal came from. I mean seriously most bronies when asked will say: the animation, the voice acting, the people who do it really care about the fanbase, the music (wait what?), the characters (who I agree aren't 2 dimensional but one or two still manage to grate on my nerves), the plot lines, and how cute they are (okay you've got me there)... but seriously there are a lot of great shows that pull all of this off seamlessly (Yeah pretty much any good anime). So I'm really wondering WHAT IS IT THAT ATTRACTS YOU GUYS TO THIS SHOW? Please don't be offended by my dislike of your show it really is just my opinion and as you can see by my picture I'm definitely the minority. I expect answers on my desk by next week .
